Freedom Church began on the first Sunday of February 2002. A small group of believers met in the pastor's home and decided to form a church. The following Sunday we met at Campbellsville Health and Fitness where the owners graciously provided a place for worship until we were able to secure 111 W Main St, the old Social Security office in downtown Campbellsville. We remained there for 4 years until we bought property and built Freedom Baptist Church at 1365 N Bypass, Campbellsville, where we still meet today.  God has truly blessed us with comfortable surroundings and a great location sitting on approximately 7 acres.

The mission of Freedom Church is to fulfill the great commission by actively going and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, both in word and in action to those around us, and by sending missionaries into all the world to spread the same good news. That the whole world may know....Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is God revealed to us in human flesh. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the human race by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after 3 days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. The Holy Spirit is God living within us. The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son, He is present in the world today to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every christian from the moment of salvation. He provides truth and guidance in doing what is right. 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16.

The Bible is God's word to us. Human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit wrote the bible. It is the supreme source of truth of Christian beliefs and living. Because God inspired it, it is the truth without any mixture of error.

Human beings were made to be in the image of God. We are to be like him in character and are the supreme object of God's creation. When Adam and Eve sinned, ALL of mankind sinned. Man's single biggest need is to have God's image restored in him. Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 59:1-2, Romans 3:23
