Children in Action (CiA) Missions Education
Change a child. Change the world.

Who are we?

It is never too soon to become involved in missions. CiA offers a variety of ways to involve children in missions. We use the material offered through WMU to share stories about how God is working in the world today and to teach boys and girls that they have a purpose in God's plan. Children begin to develop a biblical world view and a global perspective. They are also taught the foundations of Christian faith.

What is CiA?

CiA is a mission discipleship organization for children grades 1-6. Every boy and girl has an important place in CiA. They learn about and pray for missions. They do work and give money to missions. Plus, they have a great time!

FBC has an active CiA program. We meet on Wednesday Evenings at 7 PM. Every February the kids take part in a CiA recognition service in front of the whole church where they show some of the things they have learned and are awarded badges to wear on their CiA vests.

Changing a child’s heart through CiA

The Women on Mission group at FBC comes alongside out CiA group to support them with love and prayers. This make a huge difference as the children learn to pray, give and do missions within our church, community and the world; reaching out to non-churched families. They learn about missionaries around the world and understand the work that they do. They learn how to apply the Bible to their lives and how to intercede in prayer for others.

If you have any questions you may contact our CiA director, Jennifer Graham at grahamfamily42718@hotmail.com.
